My Dad told me about D before I came to visit for the holidays and I was a little skeptical because, I’ve never had a man cut or style my hair. They met through neighborhood friends and I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and comfortable he made me feel. This man has the upmost attitude about making sure the job is done right! When he cut all of my long locks off stating “this is the biggest cut Ive done in a long time”; he styled my bob and then didnt like that I would walk out with static. So he reshampooed my hair! And then styled again. Never in my life has that happened. He really takes pride in what he does. He wants you to leave there feeling gorgeous. He used to own a salon for 40yrs in the east coast and he takes a lot of pride in that. Thank you so much D and bitsey(their dog) too!

Douglas did a great job cutting and coloring my hair. I got highlights on my second visit and they look great! I finally went back to a professional after coloring my hair for several years (started due to covid) and I’m so glad I did! The studio is lovely and D is a very calming person to be around. Definitely recommend.
Douglas brought my hair back! He did such a great job with color and then highlights over all my grays. I wasn’t even going to get a cut and I’m so glad I did because it’s so much easier to style now. It’s not easy to find a hair stylist who is equally talented with color AND cuts, but Douglas is exceptional at both. He worked with my vision, but he also had some great ideas I hadn’t thought of. He’s a hair artist! He had a very busy hair salon in the past and you can see all of that experience while he’s doing your hair. Very precise, and fast. Very reasonable prices and location was nice and chill. Very happy to have found D’s Hair Studio. Thanks Douglas.
I am so relieved I found my new hairstylist after going through many. I have very long hair and I highlight it. I like a little bit more of a chunkier look rather than very fine strands. For some reason, nobody would do that for me. I never got my moneys worth until I found D’s. I absolutely love my color and cut. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was very nice. Douglas is wonderful to chat with. I highly recommend him.
Douglas gave me a great haircut for a new professional position after 8 years in rural areas of Florida where I had to do my own color from box & put my hair in ponytail for work.

Perfect new color and cut for me! I have never received so many compliments from coworkers. Douglas took extra time to see what my hair style preferences were and then also suggested new color for me that would most compliment my skin and eyes. Hubby also got a haircut that he said is his best yet! Douglas made suggestions for products for us to use at home to improve the health of our hair. Such reasonable prices also!! We will be back and will continue to spread the word of our new neighborhood hair stylist.
